Trendelburg

Trendelburg, Germany

The castle Trendelburg is a very well preserved fortification in Trendelburg, Germany; belonging to northern Hesse. It is dating back to the year 1303 CE and is nowadays a place for medieval festivals and fairytale adventures. It is one of the smaller castles of the area but the location near and above the city is pretty fascinating.

Tame monsters

Göttingen, Germany

The “Zentralmensa” is the biggest university canteen in Göttingen, Germany. It is operated by the Studentenwerk Göttingen and serves a lot of meals to students during daytime. The one in Gießen, Germany is no exception but it is well placed in the inner city center and has a very good infrastructure surrounding it. Try the car park at the city hall, if you arrive by car!
