Well, yes: the ALEX at Kassel, Germany is only a local branch of a coffee bar and restaurant chain. But it has a very good location as you will find it in the pedestrian zone directly next to the Friedrichsplatz which is full of hustle and bustle – even outside of documenta times.

The Lolita Bar is a lovely and iconic bar at Kassel, Germany. It is cosy, good music is played and they serve a nice selection of drinks. If you show on social media that you are there and most of your friends are not from Kassel you might have to explain that this is not a red-light venue. 😉 Get there on a Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.

The Freibad Weende at the city quarter Weende belonging to Göttingen, Germany was the outdoor swimming pool of my childhood. Our garden was nearby, for many years I had a season ticket and went here many times. Then it came to age and had to be refurbished – and it changed its character during this process.

I was at London, United Kingdom during the football world championship and the next match was England vs. Colombia. The TINTO is a nice tapas and wine bar in Nürnberg, Germany. It is located next to the railway museum of Deutsche Bahn and it also has an entrance from there.
