The Sporthalle Hamburg is a multifunctional indoor arena for different kinds of sports in the north of Hamburg, Germany. I guess it is very good for sport events – but we came there for a concert of George Ezra supported by Ten Tonnes. It will not become my favorite concert location as the sound and the air ventilation weren’t good.
The rest was well: there are parking lots at the arena, entering the place was very fast and getting drinks and snacks was easier than at other concert locations. What I found strange was that there were seats at the side and many people followed the concert sitting.
The floor was crowded and at the rear there were additional bars which made getting drinks pretty easy. As they don’t have any screens smaller visitors might not be able to see the artists (unless they sit down at the sides). We were really happy that they sell ice cream – that helped a lot to cool down.
