If you grew up at Lower Saxony and your parents listened to the radio you know this place – because of its advertisement which is a catchy tune. One of the essential sights of a first time visit to London, United Kingdom is the home of the queen: the Buckingham Palace. It was built in the year 1703 for the Duke of Buckingham and continuously enhanced afterwards. Often foreign state guests are welcomed here.

I was at London, United Kingdom during the football world championship and the next match was England vs. Colombia. The Shard in Southwark, London is the highest building of the United Kingdom. The skyscraper looks like a shard of glass, is 310 meters high and contains 87 floors. It is known as the Bergwildpark Meißner and as the Wildpark Germerode but don’t be confused: it is only one place. At Germerode, Meißner, Germany you will find a park with wild animals that wait for you getting inside and feeding them. Getting in touch with goats, stags and deer is real fun for children (and yes, for adults as well).
