Coral Beach Hotel and Resort

The Coral Beach Hotel is a nice hotel in the South of بيروت, Lebanon. It is very recommendable especially in summer – with a wonderful pool between the buildings and access to the Mediterranean sea, even as there is no beach. It formerly belonged to the Sheraton group and has large rooms and a good restaurant. The location of the hotel is the big advantage in summer, but also a big disadvantage as you always need to take a taxi to access the city centre. It is a ten minutes taxi ride from there to the city and also to the airport.

Egon

The hotel Egon is nothing really special – just a clean and good hotel in Hamburg, Germany. It is one of these places that you would book because of its location at the end of the Reeperbahn – the party zone of the city with a lot of hustle and bustle at night. I want to a concert at the Große Freiheit and for that, the hotel was perfect because of the very short way to bed.

Vier Jahreszeiten

The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kreuzberg in Berlin, Germany, is not the right hotel for you if you like quiet environments. It is located at the Skalitzer Straße with the drug deals of Görlitzer Bahnhof direct in front of it. But if you like to be at the centre of the action this place is great – for example, it is only a very short walk to the great club SO36. As a surplus, the hotel is located above the wonderful Korean restaurant Kimchi Princess.

Paris Hotel

The Paris Hotel at Երևան, Armenia, is a very good four-star hotel just a few meters afar from Republic square. The rooms are quite large and I even had a balcony (which I found unusual inside an inner-city). It is a high-class hotel but not exaggerated; I felt really well there. Breakfast is served on the 12th floor where you can also get dinner and drinks in the evening hours.

Fair Hotel

The Fair Hotel is a surprisingly good hotel next to the railway station of Mönchengladbach, Germany. It rather feels like a house with different modern and quite spacious apartments. The reception is not open around the clock but there is a giant red door you can’t miss and which opens with a key you receive when checking in. I had the feeling of living in the city, a situation I absolutely like.

Schlichte Hof

The Schlichte Hof is an ancient guesthouse from the year 1492 at Bielefeld, Germany. Within the half-timbered house you will find a hotel with few rooms and a good restaurant serving traditional dishes of Westphalia. But this place seems to be mostly known for family events and especially wedding parties. The former horse stable offers enough space on two levels for many guests.

Parkway Guesthouse

Finding a good place to sleep in Dublin, Ireland wasn’t fun. You’ve got plenty of options but the prices were close to those in London, England. And I dislike paying a fortune just for a short night in a hotel. Therefore I decided to book the Parkway Guesthouse, a bed & breakfast in the north of the city – not far away from O’Connell street (upper). That was a good and a bad decision at the same time.

Logotel

The Logotel is a hotel near the city center of Eisenach, Germany. It is not a beautiful boutique hotel but solid standard and absolutely sufficient for a nice weekend. The hotel feels a bit old-fashioned but it has all you need and also offers Sky television. Next to the hotel you can find the Greek restaurant Athen that is highly frequented and seems to be a good choice. Two supermarkets are close-by.

Nartel Hotel

The Nartel Hotel at Prishtinë, Kosovo is an excellent choice if you want to book a room in the quality known from good hotels at home. It is a four star hotel located south of the city center, but it is only a ten minutes walk to reach the interesting places of the city. In fact it was one of only a hand full of hotels that you can book online and the combination of price and location was best. The hotel seems to be often used by diplomats and KFOR/NATO representatives.

Hotel Biendo

The perfect place if you want to stay at the city center of Chemnitz, Germany. The hotel Biendo is located in a long-stretched building opposite to the event hall and the Stadthallengarten and it is between the Roter Turm and the Karl-Marx-Monument. When you’ve found the entrance between the shops you can check-in at the lobby and take the elevators – the hotel is situated on the 5th and 6th floor of the building.
