The Villa Lido is a good Italian restaurant at the shore of lake Wörthersee in Klagenfurt, Austria. I really enjoyed sitting outdoors and watch sundown over the lake. To reach this place you’ll have to leave the city center of Klagenfurt and take a bus from Heiligengeistplatz to “Schiffsanlegestelle”. If you’re looking for high-quality Asian food in Göttingen, Germany, the Busumo Deluxe is your best choice. The menu is a wild mix of Japanese, Vietnamese and other Asian cuisine – but the quality is very good. I first tried the Abessina in Göttingen which seems to be a spin-off from the restaurant named alike in Kassel, Germany. I loved the food (Injera; sourdough bread, and very spicy meat) and the special atmosphere. That is why I decided to visit the place in Northern Hesse, too. What does a home-sick Bavarian do in Berlin, Germany? He checks out one of the many Bavarian restaurants in town – maybe the best can be found on the Gendarmenmarkt: the “Augustiner“.
