After World War II many U.S. soldiers were located in Ramstein not far from Heidelberg, Germany. As a result of this you can now find a typical U.S. Diner close to the main railway station of Heidelberg – on the other side of the railway tracks.
Mandy’s Railway Diner is located in an old German regional train that has been decorated with many imported items from the States. Today you can enjoy a rootbeer, different huge burgers, milk shakes and other traditional fast food dishes there. Nothing if you’re on a diet but a great experience.
