The Matsubaya is a traditional Japanese ryokan – a guest house for travelers – in Kyōto, Japan. Those guest houses measure the size of the room in tatami mats. Park Hotel
I had different hotels in Αθήνα, Greece, most of them not being special. My worst choice was the first: I booked a cheap hotel of a world wide chain in Omonia, not knowing that this is the area for prostitution and drugs. Aran Mantegna Hotel
For sightseeing in Roma, Italy the Aran Mantegna Hotel is a bit too remote. I came here for a scientific conference held at the hotel and for that it was absolutely perfect. A nice design hotel with all necessary facilities.

Most iconic building in Travemünde (belonging to Lübeck, Germany) is the Hotel Maritim. It is the only skyscraper in that area, surrounded by small buildings and located directly at the sea. When big ships enter the river Trave it looks like they are crashing into the building.
