The hotel Molina Lario in Málaga, Spain doesn’t look very spectacular – even so it is a four star hotel. Battle of the Knights
Schloß Berlepsch is a castle in the no man’s land surrounding Witzenhausen, Germany (close to Göttingen and Hann. Münden). Situated within the hills along the river Werra it can be seen from near and far. It has been built from 1369 on and has been invaded by several armies crossing the country during the centuries. Today it is a well preserved castle still owned by the family that once built it.

The Bay Club in Haifa, Israel is a nice hotel situated half way between Mount Carmel and the shore, close to a public park. The hotel is a beautiful old buildung surrounded by pine trees, built in mediterranean style like in San Remo, Cannes or Monte Carlo and some rooms have balconies or roof terraces.

It is not a luxury hotel, it is a legend: The American Colony hotel in Jerusalem, only a ten minute walk away from the old town and a safe harbour and second home for travellers. It was founded because the grandfather of Sir Peter Ustinov, Baron Plato Grigorjewitsch Ustinow, was not fond of the Osman hotels where he had to stay during his visits to Jerusalem. Later, Graham Green, Richard Gere and Winston Churchill stayed at the American Colony. And it was also the place where T. E. Lawrence told his story about Lawrence of Arabia to a journalist.

Pousada Naturalia
When you arrive on Ilha Grande, in Vila do Abraão (belonging to Angra dos Reis, on the mainland) you first recognize that there are no paved roads and no cars. You walk through the sand and are happy, that there is someone transporting your luggage on a pull-cart. At the east-end of the village you leave the beach and after taking a small and short footpath up the hill you reach the Pousada Naturalia.
