The Hotel Golan in Tiberias, Israel looks a bit old-fashioned, but that doesn’t matter: it has great balconies which offer an unhindered view on the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. Like every middle-class hotel in Tiberias it is not situated directly at the sea, but up in the mountains.
Walking down (and if you’re kind of insane: up again) lasts some time. But therefore enough parking space is available directly in front of the hotel. On floor -2 you can find a good outdoor pool and in addition also a children’s pool, an indoor whirlpool and sunloungers. They play good music and also have a pool bar – but the pool closes (in low season) at 7 pm.
