The Mangal’s Kitchen is a fine Indian restaurant in Hannover, Germany – close to the Lister Meile. It has a nice room with beautiful and unobtrusive decoration, hand-made naan bread and great lamb and chicken dishes; but there are also vegetarian alternatives. Continue reading “Mangal‘s Kitchen”
We didn’t play crazy golf (or miniature golf) too often when I was young – mostly when we were somewhere on vacation; but I remember it as a funny thing. The Pamukkale is my favorite kebab restaurant in Hann. Münden, Germany. Named after the famous region in Turkey the small eatery serves traditional döner. The PS.SPEICHER is a mobility museum in Einbeck, Germany opened in 2014. After purchasing your tickets you can store your luggage in lockers and take an elevator to the sixth floor of an old granary. When looking for a nice place for New Year’s Eve the Baumhaushotel Robins Nest came into my mind – an assembly of tree houses close to Schloss Berlepsch. We booked a tree house at a height of 5 meters between two birch trees. There we had our own terrace with good views on the castle and from which we could watch the fireworks. I avoided to go to Lisboa, Portugal for several years. Not that I had bad feelings about the country – it was just that so many people I know travelled there and I was searching for places less known. But after I went to Brazil and found out that Portuguese is one of the best sounding languages and after I visited a Portuguese town (Paraty, Brazil) there I developed the desire to see the capital of this country.
