The botanical garden of Wrocław, Poland is located close to the cathedral of the town and belongs to the local university. You’ll find many wonderful trees and bushes, greenhouses with succulents and other plants. Until the year 1970 the small town of Hann. Münden, Germany was hosting the faculty of forestry of the “Georg-August-Universität” in nearby Göttingen. As a side effect from 1868 on a botanical garden and an arboretum were created close to the city center and opened in 1870. 100 years later it was moved to Göttingen-Weende (at the “Faßberg“). The Tivoli park is a five square km large park close to the center of Ljubljana, Slovenia, next to the Narodna galerija. It has been created in 1813 and features some nice alleys, flower-beds beautiful trees and some fountains.

I was once before at the Keukenhof in Lisse, The Netherlands (as a tourist guide) but as I couldn’t even remember the year and as I was so close in Noordwijkerhout I decided to get there again. The Keukenhof is a large botanical garden prepared for masses of tourists. Continue reading “Keukenhof “
