Sometimes you might be missing home when you’re away. It does not happen to me, but I fully understand. At Podgorica, Montenegro Germans have the chance to cure that – because of the nice hotel, bar and restaurant called ‘Marienplatz‘ (named after that famous place at München, Germany). It is located close to the Trg Republike.
They serve good food and drinks and also have a small outdoor terrace. The place is designed well and in a style I really like. The walls inside are decorated with funny sayings. I was quite a bit disappointed that I try to avoid German or German-flavoured places when being outside the country – cause this is a really nice one.
