The Völkerschlachtdenkmal is a memorial in the southeast of Leipzig, Germany. It commemorates the Völkerschlacht at Leipzig in 1813 – with 600000 soldiers one of the biggest battles in history. Olympic games belong to Greece, for sure. The last ones held in Αθήνα, Greece were in 2004. You can find two important stadiums for the Olympic games in the city: the modern Spyros Louis for the last games and the old Panathinaiko stadium (“Kallimarmaro“) for the games in 1896.

I had different hotels in Αθήνα, Greece, most of them not being special. The Acropolis in Αθήνα, Greece is a fortress on a 156 meters high rock near the city center. It was built from 467 BCE on and contains the Propylaea, Erechtheion, Partenon and the temple of Nike. It is a UNESCO world heritage site since 1986.
