I must admit I never read The Six Bullerby Children by Astrid Lindgren – but the visit to Bullerbyn which is identical with the small village Sevedstorp near Mariannelund, Sweden was quite a pleasure. You can see the three lined-up houses only from the outside – but there are some small attractions around.
In a barn children can jump into the hay, you can climb into a hole of a tree and meet some goats and rabbits. When we where there we also had the chance to buy on a small farmers market and there was music and a small coffee bar. You just have to pay for parking your car on the parking lot on the other side of the road. Did you know that the father of Astrid Lindgren was once living here?
