I like Ethiopian food: the special kind of bread, the idea of putting huge plates in the center of the table for everyone to eat with his or her hands. Most often these restaurants are not designed very well inside, but that doesn’t matter, because mostly the gentle hosts make up the wonderful atmosphere.
And that’s also the case for the restaurant “Bejte Ethiopia” in Berlin, Germany – close to the Nollendorfplatz. If we hadn’t read recommendations on the Internet, wo maybe wouldn’t have entered because of the look outside. But that would have been a mistake: the food was simply great, the people very friendly and two or three generations of family members jumping around.
If I remember well, we where the last guests in the end. Must have been a cosy place. 😉
