The Rocky Bay of Gozo is an often-visited area on the island. Tourists get to this place to walk through a moonlike landscape with many small ponds engraved into the rocks by the sea. Often you can observe a rough sea here with high waves spreading their water when crushing against the rocks. It’s a magnificent place and there is also a small grotto.
Unfortunately, the Rocky Bay lost its main sight during a storm in 2017: the Azure Window. It was a giant natural gate in the rocks which was also shown in TV series like ‘Game of Thrones‘. It was twenty meters high and one hundred meters long. Nevertheless, you should get here if you visit Gozo. The bay is still amazing, and you will find infrastructure to cover all needs.
