When I first checked into a prizeotel (close to the railway station of Bremen, Germany) I immediately fell in love with their concept. It’s simple, with vibrant colours and the design of the rooms is simply clever. If that’s something you like too, this cheap design hotel chain might be a good choice for you. The one in Hannover, Germany is a little bit aside but not too far away from the main railway station.
You can find it at the Hamburger Allee, ten minutes on foot from the rearward exit of the railway station. Not a big walk. But obviously the hotel is especially good when you are travelling by car and want to stay near the city center – it has a big car park in the backyard. The breakfast buffet is also simple but sufficient and they offer ‘Matschbrötchen‘ (literally ‘mud rolls‘) – ‘Schokokuss‘ (a small chocolate-covered cream cake) crushed in a roll. Every German child loves it.
