The Stadtbäckerei & Konditorei Mengel is my favorite bakery in Hann. Münden, Germany. And that is not only because they produce great rolls and cake or because they have friendly staff – they always donate food for charity events in the city.
They supported us when we cleaned up and repaired the Abenteuerspielplatz during an event and they donate the rolls for the Bürgerfrühstück. The Stadtbäckerei Mengel has a bakery store at the Burgstraße and a combined coffee bar and bakery in the main pedestrian zone.
