The restaurant Himalaya is located on the first floor of the shopping center attached to the railway station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe at Kassel, Germany. They serve good Indian and Nepalese food in a nice atmosphere and they also have a small terrace outside.
On Sunday the restaurant often serves an all-you-can-eat buffet with tandoori meat, fried vegetables, spicy dips and great naan bread. Better book in advance – which is easily possible via their website. All in all it wasn’t best Indian food I every tried – but it was good and the restaurant was worth a visit. You’ll also find an elevator in case you can’t take the staircase.
