Morschen is a small town south of Melsungen, Germany. There you can find the cloister Haydau dating back to the year 1235 CE – beautifully preserved and now used for cultural events. You can also book a guided tour or enjoy the nice garden. Attached to it is the modern hotel named after the cloister, often used for conferences.
The hotel has nicely decorated rooms, a good restaurant, a sauna and conference rooms within an old functional building of the cloister. This place is easily reachable via the Cantus trains going from and to the nearby railway station “Altmorschen” (seven minutes on foot) – the trains need half an hour to Kassel (stopping at Wilhelmshöhe and Kassel Hauptbahnhof and about an hour to Fulda.
