Sa Calobra, Spain is a very small village surrounded by high mountains at the northern coast of Mallorca. It was formerly only reachable by ship from Sóller. Later a crazy road through the mountains was built and driving to Sa Calobra is half of the fun. At the end of the road you’ll find a good car park.
If you walk some meters down you’ll find a tiny natural harbour with different buffet restaurants specialized on tourists. If you walk 600 meters to the right and pass two narrow pedestrian tunnels you’ll reach the Torrent de Pareis.
It is a rivermouth that has cut deep into the mountains. The small and stones beach section is too small to have fun here – but walking along the river within this spectacular atmosphere gives great views. Have your camera ready!
