The bar and restaurant Villa Cuba is located close to the old market place of Göttingen, Germany. When you enter this place at the Zindelstraße you’ll find a beautifully decorated bar in Cuban style. The menu isn’t that long but it covers some good dishes from Cuba and the Carribean – especially the starters are great.
Most people come here for the good selection of cocktails (including a very intense Zombie variation). The place has a small outdoor terrace in a backyard and a second level. If you walk up you’ll additionally find the toilets in which the collected speeches of el Maximo Líder are played in infinite loop.
Unfortunately, the Villa Cuba is gone after the death of its former owner in 2024. The restaurant is now known as “Zur Villa” and serves German food like Schnitzel, but the special atmosphere and menu is lost.
