The Waldhotel Schäferberg in Espenau, Germany is a hotel in the outskirts of Kassel. It is located at the federal road B3 between Vellmar and the airport Kassel-Calden. The Waldhotel is famous for its brunch, big family festivities and corporate seminars. It has a huge hall, a restaurant and a bar. Most people get here by car but there is also a bus going from Kassel.
I stayed two times at the Waldhotel: for a wedding party of friends and for a seminar on project management. For both events it was a good location. The rooms seemed to be a bit old-school but I had two pleasant stays.
