The Viktualienmarkt is a continuous market in the city center of München, Germany. It is open except on Sundays and holidays. It exists since 1807 and the houses are arranged around a beergarden and the central Maibaum (during that season).
You can buy fruits, meat, fish and different changing stuff here. There is also kosher food available. The name consists of the German word for market and the word “Viktualien” meaning food. Next to it you can find the Hacker-Pschorr offering you beer and traditional Bavarian food.
