This island of Σαντορίνη in Greece is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. It would be even nicer if it wouldn’t be that much crowded by tourists. It is in fact an old vulcano flooded by the sea.
On the outer ring of the vulcano you can find wonderful houses in white and blue. Ships can get directly into the flooded vulcano and anchor there – that is how so many tourists get on the island as cruises can easily stop here.
The biggest city is Θήρα and there is also a small airport. An easy way to get here is by ferry boat – the two main harbours can be reached from Αθήνα, Κρήτη and other islands. Santorini is a dream place and many people seem to have their wedding here or at least go here for their honeymoon.
