The Museum für Moderne Kunst (or short MMK) is – as the name states – a museum for modern art in Frankfurt, Germany. It was founded in 1981 and the building has a triangular structure that is really special.
Only one work of Joseph Beuys was already bought when planning the building – and as it has quite a large scale it was included in the plan. You can find video art, paintings and threedimensional works here. This includes artists like Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter (whose works I really like), Roy Lichtenstein and Francis Bacon.
