The Ca’ d’Oro or golden house is one of those wonderful buildings at the Canale Grande in Venezia, Italy. It was built from 1421 on in marble and contains many rich golden decorations. It is an example for the richness of the city.
It is a building in gothic style with many columns and arches. It was deteriorating over the years and restored during the 19th century.
