The cathedral of Wrocław, Poland is located outside of the city center but it is a very nice walk over there because you’ll have to cross a beautiful river island and nice bridges. The church named after St. John the baptist has been built from 1244 on in gothic style.
The towers of the cathedral are 98 meters high and are therefore the highest in Wrocław. At night they are wonderfully illuminated and a second visit in the late evening is worth the effort. Combine the walk at daytime with a visit to the nice botanical garden of Wrocław. It is located behind the church.
