Yeah, okay – the hotel “Noy” is a strange recommendation. It is a very old-school hotel with fairly old furniture and a special elevator. And it is at Mülheim an der Ruhr, maybe not the pearl of the Ruhrgebiet. But in fact I’ve been there twice, so I should name myself a returning customer.
The hotel has one big advantage: the location. It is located in the pedestrian zone of Mülheim, but only 600 m from the railway station. You’ll find restaurants, bars and shops in the direct vicinity of the hotel. And if you travel by train access is easy.
I stopped here because of a late flight at Düsseldorf airport (and the expensive room rates in Düsseldorf, Germany during fair and exhibition times) and a second time to visit the E-World fair in Essen, Germany. Not a beauty but still a good hint.
