The Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo is far away from the normal tourist streams in Venezia, Italy. It is a gothic style palace from the 15th century and belonged to the family Contarini.
In the year 1499 the owner Pietro Contarini decided to add a new staircase in renaissance style – and that’s the main reason why people get here nowadays. The scala is very special and winding up to the top. You can watch it from a backyard on the outside or enter the building itself for a fee.
