When entering the rain forest around Foz do Iguaçu you will mostly don’t see too many animals. Having a look at the birds and reptiles living at this spot is possible when visiting the Parque das Aves in Foz do Iguaçu.
The zoological garden is mainly one route leading you through different aviaries showing parrots, harpy eagles and tucans but also some snakes, tortoises and alligators. On your path you can have a coco verde and a restaurant is also available at the end.
Going here is a definite must. Most impressive I found the tucans because their beaks look unreal, like made of plastic. But also the big aviary with a hugh amount of parrots flying around is an absolute spectacle.
