The Brandenburger Tor in Berlin, Germany is a triumphal gate at the street Unter den Linden that was erected until 1793. It was built according to the plans of Carl Gotthard Langhans and has a quadriga by Johann Gottfried Schadow on top.
It is the last of the 18 original gates to Berlin. It is a town’s landmark of the city and a national symbol of Germany. Until the reunification the border between FDR and GDR was located directly at its location.
