The Kría is a classy hotel at Vík í Mýrdal a perfectly suited for people travelling by car. From the restaurant and breakfast room you can enjoy views on the mountains, on the other side of the building the black beach is waiting for you. It would also be a good opportunity to play golf as a golf club is also directly next to it.
The hotel has sufficient parking lots next to the building but the way to the hotel entrance is quite long if you want to carry larger luggage. But most people will probably only stay one night… Vík í Mýrdal is perfectly suited for a stop: there are a gas station, a pub, a restaurant and a supermarket on the other side of the road. Behind that you’ll also find the access point for the black beach you should definitely have a look at.
