Cavtat

In the most southern part of Croatia, few kilometers away from Bosnia and Montenegro, you’ll find Cavtat. It’s a small town you would typically choose for a quiet beach vacation: not much hustle and bustle, many small beaches between forests and a harbor with good bars and restaurants.

For visitors of Dubrovnik it is the perfect hideaway if there are too many people filling the streets. Just take bus #10 from the bus terminus and after 45 minutes you’ll be in a relaxed town and can walk along the shore under beautiful trees. In my case I even got the bus tickets for free when buying my DubrovnikCard. So if you’re at Dubrovnik for more than two days consider taking a trip to the south!
