In an industrial zone of Potsdam, Germany you can find the candy factory of Katjes (in Germany well-known for gummy bears, also vegetarian ones). Here you can get up to the first floor to watch one production line and see how candy is made.
They also got a small factory outlet shop where you can buy different types of candy and especially gummy bears. But beware: it is not cheaper than in normal shops and there is not so much 1b ware. It is not a tourist destination itself but if you are close-by it is a good idea to drop in. You can park outside for free – use your parking disc.
