The cloister in Magdeburg, Germany is located in the city center close to the cathedral and the green citadel. It has a wonderful architecture and a fantastic halation. It was built in the year 1015 and still spreads the atmosphere of that time. Today it serves as a museum of modern art.
The museum has only a very limited own collection but organizes changing exhibitions frequently. During my visit there were statues and other exhibits from different times on three levels and underneath the roof a video installation could be found.
