Conference in the east

Sometimes I like to mix the topics in my life: this time I wrote a scientific paper with a friend concerning the use of IT systems in political parties. We submitted it to the conference INFORMATIK 2010 and presented it together in Leipzig, Germany.

I didn’t have much time for sightseeing but visited the center of the city, including Auerbachs Keller and the Nikolaikirche. And I made a short to the Völkerschlachtdenkmal in the outskirts. The university was new and attracted students from western Germany, flats could by rented for small fees – it was that time when I really could imagine relocating there.
