The Mercato Metropolitano is a wonderful food court at Elephant & Castle, London. You can sit inside or outside and get drinks and food from numerous small shops. From burgers via Spätzle and burritos to gyoza. Everything that your heart might desire – and as a surplus they claim to be sustainable.
They organize a lot of events, have an urban garden, and raise awareness for sustainability. It reminded me much of the Mercado da Ribeira at Lisboa, Portugal. If you want to get there you might have to take a bus when coming from different regions of the city. The best way is to take the Bakerloo Line to Elephant & Castle – from there it is only a short walk to the Mercato.
