Well, yes: the ALEX at Kassel, Germany is only a local branch of a coffee bar and restaurant chain. But it has a very good location as you will find it in the pedestrian zone directly next to the Friedrichsplatz which is full of hustle and bustle – even outside of documenta times.
There you can sit inside behind glass or outside to watch the crowds pass by. They offer good breakfast, soups, salads, tarte flambee, schnitzel, pasta and burgers. And they’ve got a special menu for kids. Many good reasons for dropping in from time to time.
