The Café Madrid is a wonderful Spanish restaurant in the city center of Leipzig, Germany. It is located next to the St. Thomas church and in the party zone close to the Barfußgäßchen. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in Spanish style and you have the feeling of doing a short trip to Spain.
They offer a long list of delicious tapas and a lot of meat and seafood dishes. Service was great and I liked the restaurant even though it is mostly one huge hall and it can get pretty loud. I loved to eat some things again I tasted while traveling to Spain – I just missed some Salmorejo Cordobés. But the menu is long enough to have a nice evening.
