The Timberjacks is a new restaurant in the outskirts of Göttingen, Germany – close to the Kasseler Landstraße and the Kaufpark. It is like a Cafe del Sol for meat lovers – totally oriented towards people arriving by car. With plenty of parking lots and even though there is a bus stop close-by there isn’t even a foot path to the restaurant.
Inside it is nicely decorated and they have the largest flatscreen I’ve ever seen. Sometimes they have live concerts and bullriding here. The menu is quite a challenge as it offers really a lot of options. You can get different kinds of steaks, burgers and cheese fries but also tacos and enchiladas. The staff seemed a bit unable to cope with the masses of people but all in all it is a great place for a dinner.
