The Queens Park Hotel in London, United Kingdom is a hotel in a Victorian building dating back to 1900. It is nothing special in this area of the town and also a bit shabby – but it is perfectly located between Paddington station and Hyde Park. In fact all these buildings look quite similar from the inside and when walking through nested corridors to reach our room I somehow had the feeling of already having been there.
From Paddington station and the Heathrow Express it is a 15 minutes walk to the hotel. Next subway station is Queensway station on Central line; access to this station is curiosly only possible by elevator. The next stop westbound is Notting Hill gate – so this quarter is also only a stone’s throw away. We didn’t try the breakfast (because we were to early); around the corner you can find Lo spuntino, a nice little coffee shop serving all you need in the morning.
