The Neues Rathaus at the Marienplatz in München, Germany is a gorgeous building and seat of the major and the city council. It was built from 1867 on in neo-gothic style. In 1944 it was only slightly damaged.
The building contains vast decorations on windows and walls and also the fifth largest bell chimes in Europe. Within the tower there is a viewing platform that can be accessed by an elevator.
