Aeroporto Humberto Delgado

The Aeroporto Humberto Delgado (formerly Aeroporto da Portela) is the most important airport of Lisboa, Portugal and the main hub of airline TAP. It is a well-organized medium size airport (IATA code: LIS) with two terminals. 22 million passengers use the airport each year.

It is named after Humberto Delgado, a solidier fighting the dictatorship of Salazar. The airport is good and easily usable. As it is located only 7 km from the city it can easily be accessed by subway and also by special busses (YellowBus). A taxi to or from the airport costs between 15 and 20 Euros. You can get a fixed fee taxi voucher for 21 Euros at the airport but it is not necessary.
