The “bo|ra” is a great spa close to the Lake Constance in Radolfzell, Germany. It’s a complex consisting of a hotel, a sauna and a beach area. Its name is a combination of the first letters of “Bodensee” (the German name of Lake Constance) and “Radolfzell“, the city the spa is located in. I came here because I really love Japanese spas and here they’ve built a quite traditional Onsen (hot spring).
When you arrive at the railway station of Radolfzell you can walk along the shore of Lake Constance to the west. After some meters you’ll find the entrance of the modern spa and can start to enjoy different saunas and pools. The Japanese bath was really worth the tour – it might be the best reproduction throughout Germany. If you’re lucky and the weather isn’t too bad you can also directly jump into Lake Constance.
