The Ōkōchi-Sansō or Ōkōchi mountain villa is the former home of film director Denjirō Ōkōchi in Kyōto, Japan. It is located in Arashiyama close to the Tenryū-ji temple and can be visited for a small fee.
The villa is a wonderful house surrounded by woods with especially beautiful colored trees and a great view on the Kyōto area. Most people get here for the nice gardens you can walk through – dominated by lots of moss.
