Residencia Offenbacher Hof

I was laughing hard when I read the note from my travel agency that they booked the Residencia Offenbacher Hof in Viña del Mar, Chile for me – as Offenbach is a city close to Frankfurt am Main in Germany. In fact a German family went to Chile and opened this hotel here.

The toughest thing about the Residencia is to get there: it is located on top of a small hill surrounded by one-way streets. But if you reached it you’ll immediatly love it.  It is like a fortress built on the rock and I had a nice room under the roof with very good views on Viña del Mar. In the evenings you can sit at the terrace and watch the stars and the lights of the city.
