The airport El Prat (BCN) is the main airport of Barcelona, Spain. It transports 37 million passengers each year and received its name because it is located in the grounds of the city El Prat de Llobregat. It was opened in 1918 and has two terminals and three runways.
The airport is connected by train (to the city center), by subway (to the university quarter) and by bus. As we were arriving late at night here we indeed took a taxi to our hotel. Quite expensive but worth the money – we were already annoyed as Allitalia left our baggage in Roma.
