If you like to go shopping in Αθήνα, Greece the main pedestrian street, the Ermou, might be your first choice. It is 1,5 kilometers long and connects Syntagma square with Monastiraki. But when I was there a relevant number of shops was empty.
It includes many shops of international brands and shopping centers. It is in the top five of most expensive shopping streets in Europe. When walking down the Ermou you will also find the old Byzantine church Panaghia Kapnikarea.
